Our Team
Raul Zabaleta Sr.
Founder/ President
Raul Zabaleta Sr. was born in Guatemala, where he began working as a mason at a very young age. Throughout his early career, he gained hands-on experience on a wide variety of construction projects, building a strong foundation in craftsmanship and work ethic.
In 1989, Raul migrated to the United States in pursuit of a better life and the opportunity to achieve the American Dream. Upon arriving, he worked in several manufacturing factories in California before settling in Philadelphia in 1990. There, he secured a position at Cardone, a car parts manufacturing plant, where he dedicated 25 years of service.
Driven by his lifelong passion for construction, Raul made the courageous decision in 2012 to transition back into the trade he loved. Over the following years, he worked as a laborer for multiple construction companies, learning as many trades as possible and refining his skills across a wide range of residential and commercial projects. His experience includes working on significant developments, such as the newly constructed dormitories at Temple University.
In 2016, Raul and his son, Raul Zabaleta Jr., combined their skills, values, and vision to establish what is now known as Z Brothers Inc., a family-owned company built on hard work, integrity, and quality craftsmanship.
Raul Zabaleta Jr.
Vice President/Project Manager
Raul Zabaleta Jr., co-founder of Z Brothers Inc. and the eldest son of Raul Zabaleta Sr., was born and raised in the city of Philadelphia. Inspired by the strong work ethic of both his mother and father, Raul Jr. adopted those same values and applied them to every aspect of his life, including his education and professional career. In 2014, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice Administration and a minor in Psychology. Following graduation, he worked for the Department of Homeland Security with the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) until 2016, when he and his father founded Z Brothers Inc. Since then, Raul Jr. has overseen project management and daily operations, ensuring the company runs smoothly while delivering exceptional service to both clients and staff.
ALEX Zabaleta
Project Manager/Licensed HVAC Specialist
Alex Zabaleta, the youngest son of Raul Zabaleta Sr., was born and raised in Philadelphia. Like his older brother, Alex grew up observing and embracing the strong work ethic and core values instilled by his parents.
At the age of 25, Alex decided to pursue a career in the skilled trades and obtained his HVAC Technician license. He began working for one of the top HVAC companies in the Northeast, where he quickly distinguished himself through his dedication, technical skill, and professionalism. Early in his career, Alex excelled in the field and became one of the company’s top-performing technicians.
Driven by a desire to expand his knowledge and experience, Alex later explored a different professional path and earned his Sterile Processing Technician certification. This led him to the medical field, where he worked at Jefferson Hospital sterilizing and processing surgical instruments, a role that required precision, responsibility, and strict attention to detail.
After several years in the healthcare industry, Alex returned to his first passion—HVAC. He now oversees all HVAC-related projects at Z Brothers Inc., bringing with him a unique combination of technical expertise, discipline, and real-world experience that ensures every project meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Jussara Lopez
Project Manager/ Permit Expeditor Specialist
Jussara Lopez is a Project Manager and Permit Expediter at Z Brothers Inc., bringing over seven years of experience managing complex, compliance-driven construction projects. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business and applies a strategic, detail-oriented approach to every phase of project execution.
Jussara specializes in violation clean-up operations, construction project strategy, and navigating permit approvals across multiple jurisdictions. Her expertise includes ensuring regulatory compliance, streamlining approval processes, and accelerating project timelines while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism.
Recognized for her strong problem-solving abilities and in-depth understanding of municipal and regulatory processes, Jussara plays a critical role in guiding projects from concept through approval and successful completion. She is an essential member of the Z Brothers Inc. team and a trusted professional whom both clients and the company rely on to deliver results.
